Our first post took a look at the 2015 Subaru Outback. This time around our thoughts just can’t seem to get away from the launch of the new 2015 Subaru Liberty line. Already getting raving reviews in major auto markets like Australia and North America, this new range is definitely one to watch out for this upcoming year. From the 2.5i base model to the fully equipped 3.6R, each model is a well-crafted combination of new and classic features. The upcoming line includes three different models; the 2.5i, the 2.5i Premium, and the 3.6R.
If you’re looking for something simple yet refined, then the 2.5i is a great choice for you. With great features including a touchscreen entertainment system and auto stop start, it’s hard to believe that the 2.5i is only the base model. Next in line is the 2.5i Premium. This model has a stronger focus on design with features such as leather accented seats and a satellite navigation system. At the top of the range lies the 3.6R. It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for a vehicle with a little more power. In the end any of the new Liberties are a great choice as each is an expert combination of performance, style, and luxury.
This upcoming year all Liberty models will include some of the top features of Subaru technology. All three models are equipped with Subaru’s legendary horizontally opposed boxer engine. The engine’s horizontal placement translates into a lower centre of gravity, creating better vehicle capability and handling. Each model is equipped with the symmetrical all – wheel drive, delivering greater control of the vehicle. Reverse cameras are also a standard feature. It is a useful tool for entering and exiting a parking space, backing out of a driveway, attaching to a trailer, and much more. The camera gives you a better picture of the area surrounding the vehicle, making objects more visible and helping to reduce the likelihood of a potential impact. Nestled in the centre of the dashboard lies the touch screen system, where you can control the newly revamped audio system.
It is also where you can access other great features including the Bluetooth and navigation systems, depending on the Liberty model that you choose. Subaru has equipped the two higher models, the Liberty Premium and the 3.6R, with infotainment; an audio control system that you can personalize with Pandora. To top it off, each model is equipped with the current Eyesight Driver Assist System; a road monitoring system with audible and visual cues that aid the driver in preventing frontal impact collisions. The Liberty line has always been a wonderful blend of comfort, luxury, and strong performance. Next year’s additions are no exception. Like the new Outback, Subaru has added insulation to the framing of the cabin to help reduce outside noises. Combine this with the newly revamped audio system and it’s a fantastic way for you to find an escape.
Subaru has expanded the inside cabin, enabling it to fit five adults comfortably. Even the size of the boot has been expanded giving you more room to carry what you need.
